Cheng Man-Ching 37 Form

Professor Cheng Man-Ching was a student of Master Yang Cheng-Fu, the famous Yang Family lineage. He studied the Yang Long Form (108 postures) which takes 20-25 mins to perform and shortened it into 37-posture form which takes only 7 mins. This shortened form eliminated many of the repetitions in the long form, while maintaining its essence.

“Softness” is emphasized in this form. Therefore, one must learn to manage his/her inner Qi (Life energy) by guiding it with flowing intention. In this class, you will learn the postures of the form with the modifications for your condition, the applications for self -defense, and the ideal of the Cheng Man-Ching Method that helps deepen our practice and inspires us in daily life. The benefit of Tai Chi Chuan practice is unlimited and it depends on oneself to define!
